Child of God Community Center (COGCC)
COGCC programs are built around real needs, real people, and real opportunities.
Some initiatives are already active. Others will grow as the community develops, partnerships expand, and leaders step forward. Rather than launching everything at once, we are allowing programs to take shape naturally — grounded in faith, guided by wisdom, and supported by relationship.
This approach keeps the focus on people, not systems.
Programs in Motion
COGCC programs are built around real needs, real people, and real opportunities.
Faith
Faith is the foundation of everything we do.
Work
Meaningful work plays a powerful role in growth, discipline, and purpose.
Mentorship
Growth doesn’t happen in isolation.
Community
COGCC exists to serve, encourage, and support the community.
Faith & Discipleship
Faith is the foundation of everything we do.
COGCC creates space for Christ-centered discipleship through Bible study, mentorship, prayer, and gatherings focused on spiritual growth and accountability. These moments are designed to strengthen personal faith, encourage families, and support individuals as they walk out their beliefs in everyday life.
Discipleship happens through relationship — not just instruction.
Work & Skill Development
ActiveMeaningful work plays a powerful role in growth, discipline, and purpose.
COGCC supports hands-on opportunities where individuals can learn practical skills, develop strong work ethic, and gain real-world experience. These opportunities may include exposure to trade work, entry-level labor, and skill development through partnered projects aligned with our values.
Work-based training is currently taking place through real projects, allowing participants to learn while contributing in meaningful ways.
This is not a job placement program — it is a pathway for those willing to show up, learn, and grow through responsibility and accountability.
Mentorship & Life Skills
Growth doesn’t happen in isolation.
COGCC emphasizes mentorship and life skill development for youth and adults alike. Through guidance, shared experience, and encouragement, individuals can grow in confidence, decision-making, leadership, and personal responsibility.
Mentorship is about walking alongside others — helping them move forward with clarity and support.
Community Support & Outreach
COGCC exists to serve, encourage, and support the community.
This includes prayer, service projects, practical help for families, and responding to needs as they arise. Whether through organized outreach or simple acts of care, community support is an essential expression of faith lived out in action.
Serving others strengthens the entire community.
How Programs Grow
COGCC programs grow through people — not schedules.
As needs are identified and individuals step forward to help lead, teach, serve, or support, initiatives take shape. Some programs may be seasonal. Others may develop long-term. All are guided by prayer, discernment, and alignment with the mission.
Progress is measured by faithfulness and fruit, not speed or size.
Be Part of What’s Growing
If you’re interested in being involved — whether through faith, service, mentorship, work, or simply staying connected — there is a place for you.
Programs continue to grow as the community grows.
